The symptoms of this part failing are as follows:
Fan will not spin up in heat or ventilation mode, even with a little tap on the end of the shaft with a screwdriver.
Sometimes they start up but run, but you can hear the blower motor speed going up and down.
Fault codes normally associated are: 33 or 34
Tip, Try spinning it as you turn the heater on. If that works in conjunction with a light tap, then you will need to replace it.
